CMBD Goals

1. To increase the bench strength of the local business community.
2. To prepare local minority business owners to assume leadership positions
3. To enhance the local business environment.
4. To target and develop customized training for business leaders whose businesses demonstrate potential for meeting current gaps identified within Prince George’s County.
5. To develop successful and sustainable enterprises by building capacity in local businesses.

CMBD Objectives

• Provide local minority business leaders with the necessary ancillary skills and political business insight required for leading successful enterprises.
• Provide LMBE leaders with access to relevant education programs, infrastructural training, business information, assessment tools, business counseling, and mentoring programs to facilitate sustainable enterprise growth.
• Provide intensive, customized training plans for county minority business leaders to expand the pool of qualified local business entrepreneurs.
