Candidates accepted into the LMBE Accelerator Program are executives of post-start-up ventures in the construction industry. They meet strict criteria and undergo a thorough application and screening process.

Individuals selected for the program must make a considerable time commitment to the program, and be dedicated to pursuing contract opportunities at Prince George’s County National Harbor.

The enrollment criteria include:

• Minority-owned firm headquartered in Prince George’s County, Maryland.
• Company must have at least a two to three year track record.
• Firm must operate under a corporate structure, not a sole proprietorship.
• Firm must generate a minimum of $200,000 in annual gross revenue.
• Firm must be MBE/DBE certifiable by federal, state or local agencies.
• Must have a current business plan with realistic growth goals.
• Owner(s) must have a vision to grow to a multi-million dollar company.
• Owner(s) must be interested in receiving executive coaching services.
• Executives must be committed to lifelong learning.
