Charting a New Course in Minority Business Development

The Center for Minority Business Development (CMBD) is breaking new ground in its approach to helping minority businesses grow. The Center has innovatively bundled capacity building services, intense-personalized training, on-site technical assistance, and C-Suite development to create a business development model that is unmatched in the nation.

Through our Local Minority Business Enterprise (LMBE) Accelerator Program, we address minority participation gaps in Prince George's County business community. Our focus on the needs of minority-owned construction firms help players in this industry gain greater access to contract opportunities, and build the capacity to compete.

Housed at Prince George’s Community College, the CMBD utilizes state-of-the-art instructional facilities to deliver our Entrepreneurial Development Program, which offers cutting-edge learning opportunities. Through this program, business owners enhance their entrepreneur skills in areas ranging from leadership development to business growth strategies.

We invite you to browse our website, explore our programs and services, and consider how the CMBD can help you realize your entrepreneurial goals...
